This initiative is promoted by Empresarios por la Educación together with universities, foundations, companies, individuals, development institutions, media and international organizations, with the support of the Ministry of Education.
The award honors the work of teachers and principals, recognizes good practice in the classroom and the school, motivates teachers and principals to do good work, and documents and shares positive experiences so they can be replicated.
